University of Maryland Global Campus is an online state university headquartered in Adelphi, Maryland. Established in 1947, UMGC is a member of the University System of Maryland and, in addition to a vast array of online programs, offers hybrid classes through its classroom and service locations on military bases all over the world.

Transferring Credits to University of Maryland Global Campus

UMGC has a highly generous transfer credit policy, allowing students to transfer in up to 90 (out of 120) credit hours towards a bachelor's degree. ACE-reviewed credit sources such as AP/CLEP/DSST exams and self-paced online courses are readily accepted at UMGC and can be used to fulfill major requirements towards your degree.
